Policies and procedures have been implemented addressing the lawful Processing of Personal Information, and continued Personal Data Privacy and Security Training is mandatory for affected employees keeping them up-to-date on changes to applicable laws.
Technical Safeguards: cyber-security testing, vulnerability scans, required password protection and multi-factor authentication, encryption, firewalls, and secure coding frameworks.
Physical Safeguards: physical copies are secured in locked offices behind locked cabinet doors, secure disposal of Personal Information which is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected.
EcoPoxy employees with access to your Personal Information have a contractual obligation to protect your Personal Information and receive regular privacy training to remain up-to-date with developments in applicable law.
While EcoPoxy is committed to safeguarding your Personal Information, we cannot ensure or warrant the Personal Information we collect either directly or automatically from you may not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of any of our security safeguards. EcoPoxy only retains your Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the relevant purposes for which it was collected unless otherwise required by regulatory obligation or applicable law. Personal Data Retention Schedules are reviewed regularly during annual Data Processing Impact Assessments at which time it is determined whether retention deadlines are to be amended to ensure they comply with applicable regulations.
To determine the appropriate retention period for your information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized Use or Disclosure of your information, the purposes for which we Process your information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.
Please note, if you are a Registered User and your EcoPoxy Account becomes inactive, EcoPoxy will retain your User Content, Personal Information associated with your EcoPoxy account, and any other records associated with your EcoPoxy account, for a period of six (6) months from the date the account became inactive, you are solely responsible for exporting any such information from your EcoPoxy account that you may wish to retain. Destruction of this information shall be completed as per the policies and procedures implemented by EcoPoxy to ensure the safe destruction of Personal Information.
WHY, HOW, AND TO WHOM DO WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
EcoPoxy may disclose your Personal Information for business or legal purposes to partners, distributors, agents, retailers and service providers as is reasonably necessary for these Third-Parties to perform a business, professional or technical support function for us.
Third-Party’s with access to your Personal Information have contractual obligations to use appropriate technical, physical and administrative security measures during any Processing of your Personal Information done by these Third-Parties.
